Biography

Biography

I am a former middle school teacher Spanish and Science teacher.  After nine years of teaching I went to pursue doctorate and received my Ph.D. from the University of Washington in Curriculum and Instruction.  My areas of interest are teacher education, multilingual and multicultural education, and science education.

Soy Profesora Asistente en el departamento de Education Studies. Antes de ser profesora fui maestra de ciencias y español al nivel intermedio. Después de nueve años como maestra fui a la Universidad de Washington para obtener mi doctorado en currículo y enseñanza.  Mis intereses incluyen la educación de docentes, educación multilingüe y multicultural, y educación de ciencias.
