Qualifications

- We love hosting interns, and we arrange internships based on geographical preferences and interest in early childhood, K-12, elementary, or secondary. Our CFs receive support from their dedicated CFY mentor, additional mentoring, and from our speech-language department. We also offer professional development through our department, as well as opportunities for SLPs to explore their own passions and interests for professional development. - The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) provides part-time speech and language services to students at Our Lady of the Lake, supporting communication development in alignment with the school’s academic goals and Catholic mission, along with the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction’s SNSP program. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Screen and identify students with speech, language, voice, and fluency needs
- Develop and implement individualized service plans consistent with students’ educational needs
- Provide direct therapy services individually or in small groups
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation, service logs, and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to support classroom communication needs
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and strategies for carryover
- Participate in student support meetings, as required
- Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in accordance with professional guidelines
- Support the Catholic identity and mission of the school through professional conduct and interactions
Qualifications
