Become a Senior Design Capstone Sponsor

Intro

Senior capstone projects provide organizations with an opportunity to partner with UW-Eau Claire students on meaningful, real-world challenges while gaining fresh perspectives and innovative solutions. Working under the guidance of faculty mentors, teams of senior students apply the knowledge and skills they have developed throughout their academic programs to address industry, community, and organizational needs. Projects may involve product design, process improvement, market analysis, software development, research studies, engineering solutions, or other applied problem-solving activities.

For participating organizations, capstone projects offer a cost-effective way to explore new ideas, tackle important initiatives, and connect with emerging talent. Students gain valuable hands-on experience while delivering tangible outcomes, and organizations benefit from the creativity, technical expertise, and enthusiasm of highly motivated future professionals. These partnerships often serve as a pathway to internships, employment opportunities, and ongoing collaboration with UW-Eau Claire faculty and students.
