Aaron Prebenda

Aaron Prebenda is the Student Conduct Coordinator in the Dean of Students Office at UWEC. He helps oversee academic and non-academic misconduct resolutions and seeks to imbue his work with a restorative justice-minded philosophy. Aaron earned his B.A. from the American University, and his M.L.S. degree from Fort Hays State University. He taught ESL and test preparation courses in South Korea and Thailand for five years before returning to the US to earn his graduate degree. He worked in student success-related positions at community colleges and universities in New Mexico, Maryland, and Delaware prior to working at UW-Eau Claire. In his free time, he enjoys music and playing guitar, good films, traveling, delicious food, playing with his pets, and spending time with his family.
