Biography
Dr. Singla is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics & Astronomy at the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire and leads the Assistive Robotics & Control Laboratory (ARC Lab). His research focuses on robot control, teleoperation, and haptic interaction for assistive applications.
Before joining UW–Eau Claire, he conducted postdoctoral research at the Universidad de O’Higgins in Chile. At UW–Eau Claire, he mentors undergraduate researchers developing robotic control software and haptic simulations, with an emphasis on experimental design, reproducible analysis, and technical communication.
Outside the laboratory, he enjoys long-distance running, hiking, and exploring scenic trails.
