By the time you finish your master's degree in communication sciences and disorders, you will meet requirements for the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. You will also be eligible for licensure as a speech-language pathologist, in healthcare and educational settings. These qualifications will allow you to work as a speech-language pathologist for a variety of employers.
