Clinical and School-based Experience

This is it

This is the moment you work so hard to achieve: your internship or practicum at a school, library, agency or hospital. You are the clinician, teacher candidate, trainer, or social worker ready to demonstrate how you can change lives. We will provide you with local, regional and international experiences in a nurturing environment where you reveal the values, ethics, skills, and techniques acquired throughout your studies. Where do you want to go?

Expand your clinical knowledge

The Communication Sciences and Disorders program provides you with valuable experiences in a clinical setting and one-on-one with faculty mentors. Expand your knowledge, skills, and competencies through a clinical practicum or as an instructional intern.

Helping others to adjust or cope

Your social work education culminates in an internship that allows you a hands-on opportunity to integrate the skills gained via the classroom.  During internship, you will work directly with people to empower individuals, families and communities.
