    I earned a bachelor's degree in communication sciences and disorders from UW-River Falls and a master's degree in Linguistics from Wayne State University. My education and experience have provided me with a background in planning, leading, and assessing individuals in a classroom setting. As a McNair Scholar, I add valuable insight and experience in TRIO programs that support first generation, low-income, and students with disabilities.

    Masters Level Intern

    Kylie is an intern with counseling services and is currently a master’s student in the clinical mental health counseling program at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. She has a concentration in children/adolescents and crisis/trauma counseling with a particular interest in working with twins/triplets. Her approach to therapy incorporates a holistic, strength-based, and client centered lens based in Cognitive Behavioral, Adlerian, and Gestalt theories.

    Pre-Doctoral Intern

    Shauna is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over ten years of experience in the field. She obtained her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and is a pre-doctoral intern of Clinical Psychology with Capella University. Shauna focuses on the overall health and well-being of the individual. She utilizes a cognitive behavioral and solution-focused approach to therapy and has experience working with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and life transitions.
