Purpose of the Organization
Works to change government policies so that they are more helpful for hungry people. Raises funds for the Stepping Stones Food Pantry of Dunn County and supports other hunger-relief programs.
Volunteer Opportunities Available
> Empty Bowls Volunteers — Make ceramic bowls, homemade soup, homemade bread. Set up displays, greet, run children’s activities, work at a letter-writing table, set tables, serve soup meal and clean up.
> CROP Walk Volunteers — Help set up or participate in CROP Walk, Rock & Roll, on Sunday, October 14, 2012.
> Volunteers can be on an e-mail list and contact members of Congress on legislation.
