Biographical/Historical Note
The University of Wisconsin--Eau Claire was founded in 1916 as Eau Claire State Normal School. The first Bachelor of Education was awarded in 1927, when the institution was renamed Eau Claire State Teachers College. In 1951, the college, now renamed Wisconsin State College-Eau Claire, gained the authority to grant liberal arts degrees. In 1964, the institution’s name was changed to Wisconsin State University-Eau Claire. The name University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire was adopted in 1972 after the merger of the University of Wisconsin and Wisconsin State University System.

This series consists of catalogs listing graduate level courses. Each listing includes a course description. Physical copies of catalogs range from 1962-2017, and Summer Session Bulletins for 1966-1967. Digital graduate catalogs are located in the Digital Asset Preservation Storage: “AS523_Graduate Catalogs” collection, ranging from 2011-2024.
