SNOW REMOVAL REGULATIONS
(effective 11/28/08 through 03/13/09)

There is no parking between the hours of 1:00am and 7:00 am seven days a week in the meters in the following locations:

• University Drive in front of Chancellors, Oak Ridge and Bridgman
• Garfield Avenue in front of Putnam and Thomas
• Towers Circle (only the 20 minute meters along the building)
• Behind Hilltop
• University Drive in front of Olson

Cars parked in the meters between the aforementioned hours will receive a $20 ticket for prohibited parking.

 

Bicycle Parking Update

Facilities personnel are busy removing the
portable racks that have currently been used
for overflow bike parking. Some of the racks from Hibbard and Haas Fine Arts
were moved to the far southwest end of the Towers lot. A number of locked
bicycles accompanied those racks. New wave racks are tentatively
scheduled to be installed on Friday, November 28, weather permitting.
The concrete season is ending and installation may have to wait until spring.

The Parking Coordinator will work closely over the winter with the Buildings
and Grounds Supervisor to determine future options for bike parking.
