September 2018 Feature Scholar

Rebekah is working with Dr. Leibham in the Psychology Department on campus for her McNair research. Their research is on UWEC college students’ experiences with stress, coping mechanisms, and their awareness of psychosomatic illnesses. Because of Rebekah’s strong interest in health psychology, she will be applying to behavioral medicine and clinical health psychology programs to pursue after graduation. She hopes to receive her Ph.D. and continue with research by working in a medical/clinical setting and/or teaching at a university.
