Benita Wagner has been a part of the Center for Service-Learning for 18 years. As coordinator, since 2013, Benita’s takes care of office management, marketing and promotions, database management, financial administration, student supervision, assessment data for LE Core curriculum reporting and co-chairing the Service-Learning Advisory Committee. She serves as the community liaison to 150+ community partners. She provides service-learning instruction and guidance to community partners, faculty & academic staff mentors, and students. Benita also shares in classroom presentations and info sessions, plans and implements the Service-Learning & Community Engagement Fair and the annual Service-Learning Recognition Breakfast.
Outside Service-Learning duties, Benita serves on the following committees: UW Meets EC, Holistic Admissions, ARCC Communications Work Group, ARCC Student Employee, Neighborhood Association, Christian Network (CNet), Chippewa Valley Volunteer Coordinators' Association, and as advisor to Chi Alpha Campus Ministries.
