Charles Vue

Charles C. Vue joined the Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 1998 to provide supplemental counseling regarding academic, personal, social, cultural, financial, career and interpersonal concerns for students of color, particularly Southeast Asian students. He also serves as a liaison for students of color to faculty and staff within the university regarding retention efforts and academic support services to advocate for equitable and effective learning systems for students of color. Charles, a School Board Commissioner for the Eau Claire School District, is a firm believer that “Fear comes from uncertainty; we can eliminate the fear within us when we know ourselves better” - Bruce Lee
