Dua Ci Khang is the Program Associate for the Office of Multicultural Affairs and she joined the team because she feels it is essential to foster student success through offering equitable resources and creating culturally relevant opportunities. Dua Ci attended the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Secondary Education, with an emphasis in History and Sociology, and a Topical Critical Hmong Studies Minor. She has also pursued research in the Analysis of Student of Color Success in the Public K-12 Education System Through a Critical Race Theory Lens and Hmong American Experiences in Alaska. In all aspects of her life, she has a deep commitment to advancing social justice work. Her favorite quote is, “We are all deserving and we don’t need permission or an invitation to exist and to step into our own power” – Ilhan Omar
