Jack Kessler

Jack is a Study Abroad Manager in the Center for International Education. He graduated from the University of St. Thomas with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Applied Mathematics and Japanese Studies. He also has a Master of Education – TESOL degree from Concordia University, Nebraska.

Jack studied abroad when he was an undergrad in Osaka, Japan. He fell in love with the country and made it his goal to return and live there again after he finished his undergraduate studies. He ended up living there for six years, mostly in Okinawa and Nagasaki prefectures, creating many unforgettable and cherished moments throughout that time. Before coming to UWEC, Jack worked primarily as an English as a Foreign Language teacher at the junior high and high school levels as well as a Research Analyst for an investment firm on Wall Street.

In his free time, Jack likes to go for a run, binge watch K-dramas, play pick-up hockey, coach youth sports, and dominate fantasy football. He is also an avid Minnesota Vikings and Wild fan. SKOL!
