Susan Alt (she/her/hers)

Susan began working as the Student and Program Support Associate at the Center for International Education in December of 2021. She received her Master of Arts in International Studies from the University of Wyoming in 2020, and her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Psychology from Simpson College in 2017. Prior to working at UWEC, Susan worked for the Global Engagement Office at the University of Wyoming. Susan studied in Chiang Mai, Thailand and Rosario, Argentina as an undergrad, and completed thesis field research in Chiloe, Chile as a grad student. She has spent time in and around South East Asia, South America, Central America, and Europe. 

Susan supports the Study Abroad Staff through insurance enrollment, schedule building, study abroad registration, and maintaining course fees and payments. She supports the ISS staff through insurance enrollment, advising on social security and employment procedures, and immigration check in. Additionally, she oversees the student assistants in the CIE and manages day to day office proceedings and budget. In her free time, she enjoys running, cross country skiing, biking, cooking, camping, and spending time with her family and friends.
