Jan Adams, MLIS, has been the Resource Center Coordinator for the College of Nursing and Health Sciences at University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire since 2012. Her responsibilities include developing and maintaining print and digital collections to meet student needs and working with faculty and staff to integrate information literacy skills and electronic resources into their curriculum. She increases the visibility of the College by managing web content and social media efforts, writing news stories and participating in marketing efforts. She also engages in research, publication and grant proposal writing and administration. Before joining UW-Eau Claire, Jan was the Resource Coordinator for Cooperative Educational Service Agency 10, serving twenty-nine school district in northwestern Wisconsin by providing access to quality resources for teaching and learning and quality leadership and professional development to library media specialists. Over the last thirty years she has held biomedical, community and school library positions and served on numerous local and state library committees.
