The sidewalks of the UW-Eau Claire campus mall became the canvas for more than 100 artists Aug. 15 during Chalkfest 2015, a free community event showcasing chalk art masterpieces and a variety of fun activities. For the first time in the event’s history, UW-Eau Claire partnered with the local culture and entertainment magazine Volume One in giving artists an opportunity to display their creative works and compete for prizes in several categories..
