It takes a special kind of determination to become a college volleyball player, and it takes tremendous dedication to elect to be a campus ambassador. Alexis Wong possesses this unique blend of character and drive, and it has allowed her to enjoy two vastly different and highly rewarding roles during her four years as a Blugold. A right hitter/setter from Maple Grove, Minnesota, Alexis discovered how teammates become like family, and counts her 20 fellow Blugold players as her best friends over the last four years. A proud Blugold on and off the court, she chose to become student ambassador so that she could share her passion for UW-Eau Claire with prospective and incoming students and their families. About the Campus Ambassadors, Alexis says it's "hands down the best organization that I've had the pleasure to be part of," and working to share with potential Blugolds the greatness of our academics, athletics and student life has been a gift. As an ambassador and a varsity athlete, Alexsis Wong has been a face of the campus AND a phenom at the net. . . . AND that's pretty powerful!
