UW-Eau Claire welcomes community to 'Kids in STEM' event Sunday

"Kids in STEM" is a fun, free science fair for the community that will be held on Sunday, March 13 on the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire campus.

The event will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on the second floor of the McIntyre Library.

The fair will include cool experiments, fun games, demonstrations, snacks and more. Presentations will be done by professors, students, and student organizations with the common goal of introducing kids — especially young girls — to science, technology, engineering and math.

This event is geared toward children in grades 3 through 7 and their families.

This event will be hosted by the Mortar Board Gold Caps Chapter, an honor society at UW-Eau Claire.
