University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education will again offer a free foot and nail clinic this fall.

The clinic will be offered Oct. 17-21 at Grace Lutheran Church in Eau Claire.

Registration for appointments will open at 8:30 a.m. Oct. 3. Appointments are required in advance.

People with foot issues, diabetes-related foot concerns or who have difficulty caring for their own feet are encouraged to attend.

During appointments, nurses will assess foot and nail health to determine areas that need attention. Appointments may range from 20-60 minutes, depending on level of care and services needed.

Services will be performed by registered nurses as part of a certification program. The clinic will be supervised by a nurse practitioner certified in foot and nail care.

Continuing Education has been providing the community with free foot and nail care for more than 30 years.

More information can be found on the Continuing Education website.
