Update on plant light response research supported by NSF funding

Understanding how plants respond to light could prove valuable for the agricultural industry and the world's food suppliers.

Dr. Derek Gingerich, associate professor of biology at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, and senior Kevin Mayer, a microbiology major from Rochester, Minnesota, continue a National Science Foundation-supported research project on plant light response. Data gathered from the research can potentially help guide crop breeding and development.
