Higher Vision

Higher Vision

Local vocal quartet Higher Vision will perform “Songs for the Soul” Sept. 26 during UW-Eau Claire – Barron County’s "Thursdays at the U" lecture and performance series. The performance will be from noon-1 p.m. in the Blue Hills Lecture Hall (Room 234, Ritzinger Hall) on the Rice Lake campus.

Higher Vision has entertained audiences since 2013, most often at area churches, summer concert series and other local events. In addition to their signature gospel tunes, when performing at secular venues, the group adds doo-wop, Beach Boys tunes, Bob Dylan ballads and other crowd pleasers to their repertoire.

Higher Vision members, all from the local area, are lead singer Mike Jenkinson, tenor Albin Peterson, baritone Dick Sampson and bass John Westin. The group’s accompanist is Elaine Molls.
