Last summer, it was Time magazine shining a spotlight on Eau Claire in a story about the impact that the arts and local development is having on the city, as well as the role Blugolds are playing in shaping the Chippewa Valley’s future.

This spring, Milwaukee Magazine, Madison Magazine and Minnesota Monthly all joined in the fun, each sharing stories that highlight many of the awesome things that we know make Eau Claire such a great place to live, work, visit and study.

Then, on June 8, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel highlighted all that the region has to offer, calling Eau Claire "the best city in Wisconsin you haven't been to."

Not surprisingly, the stories all note UW-Eau Claire grad Justin Vernon’s Eaux Claires music and arts festival, held June 9-10 for the third consecutive year.

Also not surprising is that UW-Eau Claire is part of all the stories, with the Minnesota Monthly piece noting that UW-Eau Claire has one of the best jazz programs in the country, and the Milwaukee article mentioning the beauty of the campus and encouraging readers to “celebrate the Blugolds and pretend you’re in college all over again.”
