The Shamrock Shuffle is a fun, community non-timed 5K run/walk hosted annually by the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire’s Recreation and Sports Operations department, set this year for 10 a.m. Saturday, March 11.
This family-friendly event is open to all fitness levels. Participant categories are:
- Shamrock Shuffle 5K: Ages 11 and up.
- Shamrock Shuffle 5K: Ages 10 and under.
- Shamrock Shuffle 5K: Teams.
Registration is available online now; cost is $20 per person and $25 per team.
Race director Brittany Wold says the St. Patrick’s Day spirit is a favorite part of the event each year for participants of all ages.
“One of the best things about the Shamrock Shuffle is how festive our participants are — people always show up wearing a lot of green and exhibit a lot of creativity, which makes for a really fun atmosphere,” says Wold, student wellness coordinator at UW-Eau Claire.
