Dr. April Bleske-Rechek, professor of psychology at UW-Eau Claire, shares her passion for teaching in a recent Blugold Spotlight, a video profile series that celebrates the campus community.
Her enthusiasm for teaching and her commitment to including her students in her research have earned her numerous honors over the years, including the 2017 UW System Board of Regents Excellence in Teaching Award.

A city of Eau Claire road construction project along State Street will close a major route to the UW-Eau Claire lower campus starting Wednesday, June 19. The route is expected to remain closed through early October.
For the 2018-19 season, UW-Eau Claire is ranked 10th in the nation in the NACDA Learfield IMG College Directors' Cup standings for NCAA Division III. The rankings include the more than 400 NCAA Division III athletics programs in the country.
The capital budget passed June 11 by the state Legislature's Joint Committee on Finance included $109 million for phase one of a Science and Health Sciences Building to replace UW-Eau Claire's Phillips Hall.
