Midwest Living magazine highlights Eau Claire revival

| Judy Berthiaume

UW-Eau Claire, Eau Claire’s new state-of-the-art Pablo Center at the Confluence and UW-Eau Claire alumnus Justin Vernon all are noted in Midwest Living magazine’s story about the recent revival of the city of Eau Claire.

In its most recent issue, the magazine shines a light on the many ways that music and arts are reviving the city in a story, titled “Music Leads a Revival in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.”

The story notes that the city “pegs its rich musical heritage on Justin’s alma mater, the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.”

It also mentions the new performing arts center, which sits at the confluence of the Eau Claire and Chippewa rivers. A public-private partnership that includes UW-Eau Claire made the $60-million-plus arts center possible.
