The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire will host a public budget hearing of the state Legislature’s Joint Finance Committee on Tuesday, April 11.
The hearing will be from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. in the Ojibwe Ballroom of Davies Center.
The Joint Finance Committee is holding a series of public budget hearings around the state to give residents an opportunity to testify on what they believe should be priorities in the 2023-25 biennial state budget. The committee will write the budget for the state Senate and Assembly to consider and send to the governor later this year.
