Eau Claire Jazz Inc., in partnership with the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, will present the fifth annual Gatsby's Gala Nov. 9. Doors will open at 7 p.m. and music will begin at 8 p.m. in the Ojibwe Ballroom of the university’s Davies Center.
Guests will step back to the Roaring '20s in a transformed Davies Center, where they will be surrounded by sights and sounds of the era. The evening will include music from UW-Eau Claire's Jazz I and Jazz II ensembles, including modern tunes with a '20s feel, as well as special guest artists The Niskas, Sue Orfield, Christine Hitt, Shannon Kaeding, LASKA, Mark Koxlien and Joel Pace. Guests should dress in their favorite 1920s-inspired black-tie attire.
Eau Claire Jazz Inc. is a local nonprofit that works in partnership with UW-Eau Claire to promote jazz in the greater Eau Claire area.
Tickets are available in person or online through the UW-Eau Claire Service Center.
