Gatsby's Gala swings back to UW-Eau Claire on Nov. 10

| Sam Coughenour

If you are ready for a swinging good time and you can’t wait to put on your dancing shoes, have no fear, Gatsby’s Gala is near.

The fourth annual Gatsby’s Gala will return to Davies Center at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire on Friday, Nov. 10. The party promises to take guests back to the 1920s with the music to match.

UW-Eau Claire’s Jazz Ensembles I and II, instructed by Robert Baca, will provide the music, and the students will be joined by some stellar local community performers. Two to Tango, a Blugold student dance organization, and the En Avant School of Dance students will be there to entertain and inspire guests to dance the night away.

The Ojibwe Ballroom doors will open at 7:45 p.m., and the party will be in full swing at 8 p.m.

All attendees are encouraged to dress for success, so bring on the beads, sequins, fringe, slick suits, ties, and of course, some serious dancing shoes.

Tickets are on sale at Davies Service Center or by clicking on this link. You can also visit the Eau Claire Jazz Facebook page for more information about the annual party.
