Are you interested in exploring the world of nonprofit leadership or looking to expand your abilities as an effective nonprofit leader? University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education/UW-Extension is now offering unique opportunities for professionals to do just that.
Registrations for new workshops designed specifically for nonprofit professionals are now being accepted. All programs will be held from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. in both Eau Claire and Hudson from March through November. Dates are available on the Continuing Education website.
The Nonprofit Management Certificate programs include: Nonprofit Leadership Effectiveness; Foundations of Successful Fundraising; Financial Management and Reporting; Marketing and Communication for Nonprofits; Increasing the Effectiveness of Nonprofit Strategic Planning; Nonprofit Volunteer and Board Member Management. The programs are designed for anyone in nonprofit leadership. Participants may choose just one program, any combination of programs, or all programs to earn a certificate in Nonprofit Management and qualify for four hours of professional coaching from a nonprofit trainer, strategist and coach. Classes are from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. The cost is $149 per program or $750 for all six.
Nonprofit workshops include Capacity Building and Collaboration for Nonprofits; Building a Strong Culture for Mission Success; Getting Social! Social Media and Socialization for Nonprofit Professionals; The Essentials of Effective Leadership: Integrity and Communication. Classes are from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. The cost is $149 each or $500 for all four.
The Professional Grant Writing Certificate programs include Finding and Attaining Grant Funding for Your Nonprofit and Advanced Grant Proposal Writing and Evaluation. The cost is $189 per program or $350 for both.
In partnership with the UW-Eau Claire Foundation, UW-Eau Claire Continuing Education is pleased to offer partial scholarships to a limited number of registrants for each workshop. For information on how to apply for a scholarship, visit the Continuing Education website and select Nonprofit.
