Enroll by Feb. 15 for student health insurance

The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Student Senate invites all students to consider the spring/summer 2015 UW-Eau Claire student health insurance plan available for purchase. Enrollment is now open for coverage through Aug. 29. The deadline to enroll is Feb. 15.

For individual student coverage, the cost is $973. Other rates apply for spouse and child coverage. Coverage is compliant with the Affordable Care Act. Students may stop by the Student Senate office in Room 220 of Davies Center for a brochure, or visit the Student Senate website for information about eligibility, complete policy information and enrollment.

The student health insurance program is provided by the UW-Eau Claire Student Senate through insurance agent Donald Southard Sr. of Southard Insurance Agency and underwritten by Nationwide Life Insurance Co.
