Emergency response training to be held May 20 at UW-Eau Claire

UW-Eau Claire Police will work with the Eau Claire Police Department, the Eau Claire Fire Department and the Eau Claire County Sheriff’s Office to conduct an emergency response training exercise on the university’s upper campus.

The training exercise, which will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 20, will take place in the McPhee Physical Education Center and Ade Olson Addition on upper campus. During the exercise, the McPhee Center and Olson Addition will be closed to the public.

University Drive (north of Clairemont Avenue to the McPhee parking lot entrance) will be closed to all traffic from noon to 3:30 p.m.

Dozens of participants and multiple police, fire and emergency vehicles are expected to be on site for the exercise.
