Total Percussion Camp
June 13-17, Eau Claire
Students in grades 6-12 are invited to join us for a challenging, fast-paced week of instruction and performance in all areas of percussion. No matter what your experience level, this camp is for you as instruction is divided into beginner, intermediate and advanced tracks for most lessons.
June 20-30, Chippewa Falls
July 13-23, Eau Claire
From art to animals, math to music, stories to science and so much more, Summer Institute makes learning fun for children entering grades K-5. Join us for hands-on activities, new friends and learning adventures!
Summer Writing Camp
July 18-22, Eau Claire
If you are a dreamer AND a storyteller, than this program is for you. Students who are entering grades 6-10 can practice their writing and learn more about different types of storytelling. Activities will include a group writing crawl, digital storytelling with iPad applications, peer review, mini lessons and working with writing mentors.
Architectural Design Camp: Build Your Dream Home
July 20-24, Eau Claire
Students who are entering grades 6-9 can explore the world of residential and landscape architectur. Start with learning basic architectural concepts, history, styles and vocabulary. Then design your “dream home” using home design software.
Materials Science & Engineering Camps
July (multiple dates), Eau Claire
Students who are interested in science and engineering should check out these summer camps that will explore nanotechnology, electron microscopes and 3D printing. Learn how nanotechnology is revolutionizing our approach to medicine delivery; learn how an electron microscope works and gain practical experience operating one; and discover 3D printing and how it’s changing our future. Middle school and high school camps available.
ACT Test Preparation
July 25-Aug. 2, Eau Claire
This program will help students in grades 10-12 who are looking to score higher on the ACT exam. Participants will take two official, retired ACT exams, write a practice essay, complete sample exercises and skill drills, and learn test-taking strategies and helpful hints.
