A three-session program for individuals planning for retirement will be offered by University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education/UW-Extension beginning in late March.
"Planning for a Confident Retirement" will be held March 31 and April 7 and 14 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. in Room 1204 of Centennial Hall on the UW-Eau Claire campus. Presented in both individual and group settings, the sessions will feature six industry professionals offering their insights and expertise on a range of topics to help participants make informed decisions about retirement.
Among topics to be explored are how to efficiently recreate your paycheck;strategies for maximizing Social Security benefits;unlocking the mystery of the Affordable Care Act and Medicare;and how to leave a legacy for family and community.
The following sessions are planned:
March 31

Cost for the three-session program is $100.
