Following are upcoming programs that provide participants with the opportunity to grow professionally and personally:
May 7: Eau Claire; May 8: Hudson
Effective planning can help nonprofits achieve their goals while maximizing the resources and effort required to generate desired results. Strategic planning can help individuals identify and act on new opportunities for mission impact and organizational growth. This session will introduce participants to the key concepts and techniques of strategic planning and how to apply them. This program can be taken by itself or as part of the Nonprofit Management Certificate Program.
May 7: Hudson; May 8: Eau Claire
Leaders of nonprofit organizations get their work done through others — most notably board members and volunteers. This session will provide insight on how to identify and recruit the right board members, effectively recruit and retain volunteers, build relationships with board members and volunteers, and work most effectively with teams, committees and their leaders. This program can be taken by itself or as part of the Nonprofit Management Certificate Program.
May 14-15: Hudson
The greatest management failure may be the ineffective delivery of performance-evaluation feedback. This process is ongoing, extending beyond the formal annual performance appraisal meeting. This session will provide participants with proven techniques for delivering effective feedback and conducting constructive performance appraisals, even when the news is challenging.
May 20: Eau Claire
A one-day conference for those who work with teens and young adults struggling with eating, self-injury or co-occurring conditions. This conference will explore best practices for assessing and evaluating eating disorders and self-injury in order to develop effective treatment plans. Merging the latest research with extensive clinical experience, presenters will offer insights, tools and treatment options that are practical and effective.
May 28-29: Hudson
As customer service improves, so does customer satisfaction, retention and sales, yet organizations often struggle to maintain a culture of exceptional service. This hands-on session will cover best practices and proven techniques for creating and delivering exceptional customer service through effective leadership.
