Continuing Education announces February program offerings

University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education/UW Extended Campus connects people with possibilities by offering degrees and certificates for working adults, professional and workforce development, community classes for adults and resources for business.

The following upcoming programs provide the opportunity for individuals to grow professionally and personally:

Red Cedar Choir
Feb. 3-April 25, UW-Eau Claire – Barron County campus
The choir is open to all community members, high school age and older. You will have the opportunity to sing and be part of one of the best choirs in the area.

Sign Language 1
Feb. 7-March 28, UW-Eau Claire campus
Do you wish you knew how to communicate through sign language? This course will provide basic knowledge and understanding to help individuals communicate with the deaf community. Participants will have the opportunity to practice the fundamentals of conversation, including receptive skills and body language.

Beginning Grant Writing
Feb. 15 and 16, online
Gain the insights you need to begin the grant-writing process with confidence, using practices you can implement immediately.

Treating Patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Comorbid Psychiatric Conditions
Feb. 16-March 25, online
In this virtual program, we will break down autism spectrum disorder, learn new approaches to apply to your practice and participate in personalized coaching sessions to solidify your new skills.

Advanced Grant Writing
Feb. 17 and 18, online
Welcome, grant writers of all experience levels! In two three-hour online sessions, you will gain insider grant knowledge to build skills to successfully secure funding. We recommend taking Beginning Grant Writing first to gain baseline knowledge.

Maximizing Performance
Feb. 17 and 24, online
