Consortium celebrates launch of new engineering programs

The Northwest Wisconsin Engineering Consortium on Oct. 13 celebrated the collaboration between three UW System institutions that led to the addition of three undergraduate engineering programs in northwest Wisconsin.

The chancellors of UW-Eau Claire, UW-River Falls and UW-Stout, along with UW System President Ray Cross, gathered at OEM Fabricators in Baldwin for an event highlighting the work of the consortium, formed to help meet the demand from industry for more engineers in northwest Wisconsin.
