Sean Carey has toured the world, both as a solo artist, and as a member of groups like Bon Iver, Tallest Man on Earth, and Sufjan Stevens. When Justin Vernon asked Carey to perform something unique at the inaugural Eaux Claires Music Festival, it didn’t take him long to come up with a plan. He reached into his past and reached out to UW-Eau Claire's Jazz Ensemble I. The result was a critically acclaimed performance at the festival that showed Sean Carey is both a composer AND a collaborator.

Supporting Blugolds' mental health
A group of UW-Eau Claire students has created a virtual event to raise awareness about mental health issues on campus and the resources available to support Blugolds who need them. The event, Virtual Mental Health Awareness Concert, will air Nov. 18.
