Sean Carey has toured the world, both as a solo artist, and as a member of groups like Bon Iver, Tallest Man on Earth, and Sufjan Stevens. When Justin Vernon asked Carey to perform something unique at the inaugural Eaux Claires Music Festival, it didn’t take him long to come up with a plan. He reached into his past and reached out to UW-Eau Claire's Jazz Ensemble I. The result was a critically acclaimed performance at the festival that showed Sean Carey is both a composer AND a collaborator.
