The search for a dean for the UW-Eau Claire College of Business has been extended. The position will be re-advertised and the search will continue during the fall 2017 semester, Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Patricia A. Kleine has announced. Dr. Timothy Vaughan, professor of management, will continue to serve as interim dean of the college. Dr. Jean Pratt, professor of information systems, will serve as interim associate dean.
Pratt, who recently began serving as chair of the UW-Eau Claire University Senate, has relinquished that position in light of her new associate dean role (see related announcement regarding University Senate leadership). She will continue teaching two core courses for information systems majors: “Systems Analysis and Design” and “Database Management.” Dr. Tony Keys, chair of the IS department, will cover one section of “Systems Analysis and Design” previously taught by Pratt. Pratt will remain the co-chair of the IS Industry Advisory Committee with Tyler Patterson, a 2009 graduate of the IS program.
