Celebrating African American History Month

UW-Eau Claire will host a series of events in February in celebration of African American History Month. Follow the links below for more event information in the Campus Events Calendar:

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 23

African American Student Experience in the Classroom: Fishbowl | Noon-1 p.m. | Ho-Chunk Room, Davies Center

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 24

UW-Eau Claire's First Black Graduate in the 1940s | Noon-1 p.m. | Ho-Chunk Room, Davies Center

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 26

Community Discussion: Building an Interracial Community through Policing in the Chippewa Valley | 4 p.m. | Schofield Auditorium

All African American History Month events are free and are sponsored all or in part by the Office of Multicultural Affairs and the Black Student Association in collaboration with the departments of history, music and theater arts, philosophy and religious studies, English, the McIntyre Library and the College of Education and Human Sciences.
