Blugolds finish in top 10 in NCAA Division III Director's Cup

UW-Eau Claire’s historic year for athletic successes just keeps getting better.

For the 2018-19 season, UW-Eau Claire is ranked 10th in the nation in the NACDA Learfield IMG College Directors' Cup standings for NCAA Division III. The rankings include the more than 400 NCAA Division III athletics programs in the country.

UW-Eau Claire is the highest ranked public institution in this year’s rankings.

The university’s athletics program finished the season with 763.50 points, the highest total in the university’s history and nearly 250 points higher than the previous season.

Points are awarded based on an institution’s finish in the NCAA championships.

Blugold athletes from multiple sports contributed to the university’s historic total.
