43rd Holiday Concert set for Dec. 3 at UW-Eau Claire


The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Foundation and department of music and theatre arts will present their 43rd annual Holiday Concert at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, in the university’s Zorn Arena. Tickets go on sale Nov. 1.

The concert will feature the Women's Chorus, The Singing Statesmen and the Symphonic Choir, conducted by Elizabeth Joosten; the Concert Choir, Novum Voce and the Women’s Concert Chorale, conducted by Dr. Frank A. Watkins; the University Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Nobuyoshi Yasuda; and the Wind Symphony, conducted by Dr. John R. Stewart.

Concert attendees are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped children’s book for collection and distribution to area children in need as part of the Friends of the L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library Give-A-Kid-A-Book Project.

Tickets, which are $5 for floor seating and $3 for bleacher seating, will be available at the Service Center in the east lobby of UW-Eau Claire’s Davies Center, by phone at 715-836-4636 or online at uwec.ly/tickets.
