ECCO will present "An Evening of Grace" at 7:30 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 202 W. Grand Ave., Eau Claire. A reception with refreshments will be held following the performance in the lower level of the church.
In celebration of UW-Eau Claire’s centennial year, ECCO will offer a special tribute to former Chancellor Leonard Haas and his wife, Dorellen Haas. In the Haas family’s place of worship, ECCO will provide classical, rich, orchestral music in a salon-type setting.
Grace Lutheran Church and UW-Eau Claire have created unity throughout the Eau Claire community. ECCO will highlight both organizations while putting emphasis on the growth that both have had over the past 100 years.
Tickets are available for order online, at the Service Center, 715-836-3727, in Davies Center’s east lobby, or at the door the day of the event.
The Artists Series is funded by student segregated fees through UW-Eau Claire. Performers are selected and administered by the Activities, Involvement and Leadership office and by an administrative committee composed of students, faculty, staff and community members.
General promotional support is provided by WHYS Radio and Wisconsin Public Radio. The Artists Series was created in 1965 and is now in its 52nd season promoting the performing arts and continues to seek development of aesthetic awareness, interdisciplinary appreciation and cultivation of a multicultural experience.
