The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Foundation and department of music and theatre arts will present the 44th annual Holiday Concert at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, at the Pablo Center at the Confluence. Tickets go on sale Nov. 1.
Join us in celebrating the holiday season at the new downtown community arts center. Enjoy preconcert music in the gorgeous Pablo lobby, holiday refreshments, exceptional performances by UW-Eau Claire ensembles, plus a world premiere of a newly commissioned work by alumnus Kyle Newmaster '99 with text by Max Garland, professor emeritus of English and former Wisconsin poet laureate.
The concert will feature the Women's Chorus, The Singing Statesmen and the Symphonic Choir, conducted by Elizabeth Joosten; the Concert Choir, Novum Voce and the Women’s Concert Chorale, conducted by Dr. Frank Watkins; the University Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Nobuyoshi Yasuda; and the Wind Symphony, conducted by Dr. John R. Stewart.
Tickets, which are $10 each plus taxes and fees, will be available starting Nov. 1 through the Pablo Center at pablocenter.org.
Parking is available in the North Barstow and Farwell/Gibson parking ramps. Pablo Center at the Confluence offers valet service for $10. Valet starts one hour before each performance. Please bring your vehicle to the corner of Graham Avenue and Gibson Street.
