Mathematics Research Students attend USTARS conference

UW-Eau Claire Mathematics students attended the USTARS (Underrepresented Students in Topology and Algebra Research Symposium) conference in western Massachusetts at Amherst College during April 2017. USTARS is an intimate conference that collects underrepresented groups [women, African-American, Hispanic, Native American, individuals with disabilities, etc] to gather together and present their mathematics research and especially stresses mentoring of undergraduates and graduate students and networking between them and faculty present. Info at:
