Writing her own story
Nora Schmidt always loved to write, but lacked the confidence to consider making a career of it. Thanks to the encouraging professors she found at UW-Eau Claire, she's graduating this month with a major in English-creative writing and a minor in math.
Learning from the past
A UW-Eau Claire public history research team has created a virtual exhibit documenting major health-related events from early in the 20th century to the current pandemic. The project shows the parallels between the current pandemic and past crises.
