David Parker went to the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire where he studied Spanish and psychology. From there, for a year or so, he worked in Rochester at the Center for Autism, and then he transitioned to a graduate program in psychology at the University of Minnesota, earning master of arts and doctorate degrees in educational psychology.
He is now the head of research and development for the non-profit ServeMinnesota in the Twin Cities. He will be a guest speaker at the Spring Valley Area Community Foundation annual banquet on April 7.
