The Passing of Dr. Roma Hoff - A Lasting Legacy
Roma taught Spanish at UWEC from 1965 until her retirement in 1996. The list of her accomplishments, awards, accolades and service is too long to recount here. Suffice it to say that she was an outstanding scholar, respected and beloved teacher, and passionate supporter of everything languages.

A Celebration of Chinese Culture
To celebrate the Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, the Languages Department was honored to invite two award-winning artists to our campus this past Tuesday and Wednesday to share authentic Chinese culture with the Eau Claire community.
