Fun at the Festival!

Competitions, clinics, concerts and more, the 51st annual Eau Claire Jazz Festival is sure to take the city by storm from April 21 – 22! The festival kicks off on Friday, April 21 with student competitions happening across the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire campus. Guest artist headliner concerts, the 52nd Street celebration and many other performances and festivities will be following the competition to ensure a jazz-filled weekend for all festivalgoers. Guest artists Doc Severinsen and Carl Allen will be playing alongside the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire’s Jazz Ensemble I at the State Theatre during both nights of the festival.


On top of the exciting lineup of guest artists, clinics and competitions, the Eau Claire Jazz Festival will be home to the re-creation of the historic 52nd Street of New York City. This lively event takes place in downtown Eau Claire on Friday, April 21 from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. More than 60 bands will perform in 16 club venues along Barstow Street throughout the night to create a rich, energetic atmosphere for attendees of all ages to be transferred back to this thriving era of jazz music. With 52nd Street, concerts, clinics and more, there is surely something for everyone to enjoy during this music-filled weekend in Eau Claire!
